Every one of us has our own desires and plans in life. Some want to travel around the world; some want to master a lot of skills. Some want to become leaders; some want to be millionaires. We all have our own aspirations and dreams. It doesn’t matter how big or small it is, as long as we are determined to achieve it.
One of the most important dreams that the majority of us have is to live in a place where we feel belonged, loved, and secure—a place we can call “home.” In our 2nd transdisciplinary theme, “Where We Are in Place and Time,” the Kinder-Goodness learners inquired and explored the topic of homes. The learners became builders during their summative assessment. They became architects! They were given agency on how they wanted to showcase their dream home. It is really amazing to see the creative output made by kids. They were able to make vlogs, drawings, paintings, and 3D crafts like Lego houses and popsicle sticks.
Moreover, the learners became communicators. They were able to share what made their house a home. They were able to share more information about their dream home. With hope, faith, and God’s grace, we know that someday, our learners will be able to build their dream home.
